Definition Of A Teaser Trailer
Teaser trailers are shorter than full theatrical trailers usually between 30 and 90 seconds in length. Teaser trailers are released before the theatrical trailers, usually containing very little information about the film. Shots tend to be short and fast compared to those from a full theatrical trailer. They also normally end with the words ‘Coming Soon’ instead of the actual release date. This is normally because the teaser trailer is released a year to a year and a half in advance to add hype to the upcoming release.
